Feedback on italki

Detailed feedback after every lesson, without the evening it used to take.

italki students compare tutors, and the feedback after a lesson is part of what they are buying. Students who can see what they learned, and what to do next, book the next package.

Jotmonk writes that feedback from what was said in the lesson: the corrections, the new words, the strengths and the homework. You review it and paste it where your student will read it.

Hi Omar, here is today's recap.

We practiced: talking about your weekend in the past tense.

Fix: “I goed” → “I went”. “I have seen him yesterday” → “I saw him yesterday”.

New words: commute, overtime, day off.

Before next lesson: write five sentences about last Saturday.

Speaking students

Show your student how much they spoke.

Most italki students want to speak with confidence. Jotmonk keeps your voice and your student's voice apart, so you can see their speaking share lesson after lesson. Going from 12% to 50% is progress a student can feel and see.

Strengths and achievements sit next to the mistakes, so feedback reads as encouragement with direction.

Mistake to fix

“I am agree” → “I agree”

At 14:32, Lucía said: “I am agree with you about the price.”

Please confirm

Was “bajo” about the price or the volume?
