Short, back-to-back Cambly lessons leave no time to write anything down. Jotmonk records the lesson tab in your browser and writes the recap while you move on to the next student.

How Cambly days run

One student after another, and no gap to write.

Cambly lessons are short and often unplanned. A student joins, you talk, they leave, the next one arrives. The corrections you made in minute twelve are gone by the third lesson of the hour.

Hit record and keep teaching. When you click Stop, Jotmonk writes the notes for that lesson while you start the next one. Review them between lessons or at the end of the day.

Hi Kenji, here is today's recap.

We practiced: talking about your weekend in the past tense.

Fix: “I goed” → “I went”. “I have seen him yesterday” → “I saw him yesterday”.

New words: commute, overtime, day off.

Before next lesson: write five sentences about last Saturday.

Conversation is the lesson

See how much your student really spoke.

Cambly students come to speak. Jotmonk keeps your voice and your student's voice separate, so every note shows the talk time on each side. When a regular student's share climbs from lesson to lesson, you can show them the change.

Strengths and achievements are part of every note too, so students hear what they did well, not just what to fix.
